ABOUT

Hi, I’m
Kathryn James

SOMATIC PRACTITIONER, WRITER AND GUIDE.
Devoted to women reclaiming their aliveness.

My work lives at the intersection of embodiment, feminine reclamation, spirituality, intimacy and pleasure. I guide women into a deeper experience of love, one rooted in wholeness, truth and the capacity to live what they know.

My own unraveling and return to love

I’m here for the woman who longs to experience love differently. The woman who aches for more freedom, more expression, deeper relationships and a life that feels fully alive.

There is room for the psychological and the spiritual, the sexual and the sacred, the messy and the beautiful.

We meet your wounds, shadows, old protectors, and the loyalties you’ve carried without knowing. We unwind old relationship patterns, deepen into intimacy, love and relationships—but we don’t stop there.

We return to woman underneath it all. Her desires. Her devotion. Her creative capacity. All of her that has been waiting to be lived.

Because as you become more intimate with yourself, the way you experience love begins to change. You recognize what nourishes you and what asks you to abandon yourself. You begin to meet your relationships with greater honesty, discernment, and your whole heart.

Sometimes it’s quiet. A sensation. A truth finally spoken. A place in the body asking to be heard.

Sometimes we move, shake, breathe, sound, grieve, rage, laugh, or let the body express what it has been holding for a very long time.

I’m not here to teach you to regulate every uncomfortable feeling rather I’m here to expand your capacity to be with yourself through the full range of being a woman.

To feel grief without needing to get rid of it.
To know anger without fearing it.
To experience bliss and pleasure without earning it.
To hear your no without explaining it.
To follow your yes without needing permission.
To stay with yourself while loving another.

There is room here for the psychological and the spiritual. The sexual and the sacred. The messy and the beautiful. The wound and everything that exists beyond it.

Because we are not only tending what hurts.

We are expanding your capacity for what feels good.

For pleasure. Desire. Intimacy. Truth. More life.

I want you to know the sound of your own voice. To recognize the language of your body. To trust your discernment so deeply that you no longer need to abandon what you know in order to belong.

And to deepen your relationship with the divine—not through someone else’s prescription, but in whatever way is true for you.

Not because you finally became the right version of yourself.

Because you learned to fully inhabit the woman who was there all along.
